Regular readers of the Trek Report and my regular Backlash column know my opinion of fan campaigns that take in a lot of money. Historically, fans and large sums of money don't mix. In recent history, fans that contributed money earmarked for the Save Farscape campaign saw some of those donations that were given in good faith disappear thanks to accounting regularities and good old-fashioned greed. That campaign did take steps to correct the mistakes that were made but substantial amounts of money still remain unaccounted for.

Dear IGNFilmforce,

you're a lying bastard and you know it.

love,

me

except for the love part.
