i just saw the last 20 minutes of Farscape's pilot ep...on television...in syndication. i'm kinda speechless, even though i knew it was coming. and that last bit in the tag? where John is fixing the drd and recording his message to Jack? had to swallow hard against a mysterious lump in my throat. PKW was a roar, the syndication a whisper, and yet, it feels like the bigger victory. probably because it is.

I was seeing Serenity for the first time, so I missed it. I'll have to wait for next weekend. My local channel is airing some yucky baseball talk show instead of Farscape.

It'll be really odd to see a Farscape episode broadcast. I didn't have cable/satellite before - I wasn't introduced to FS until after UR had aired - and had to wait for someone to tape it and mail me the tape.

Deb and I saw the opening 10 minutes on WGN and then went and saw Serenity.
Farscape airs tomorrow afternoon on my local UPN station at 4:00PM, followed by SG-1 and the Stargate Atlantis. I'll be watching. *g*

Why can't I live someplace normal. Yes, our local UPN station is now showing Farscape. Yay! But are they showing it from the beginning? Hell, no. Instead of Premiere for the, erm, premiere, we got... wait for it...

that's not a mistake. the block is 2 hours, back to back, and since it was the very first run for the very first time, they didn't want to run Premiere back to back. that wasn't a network choice, it was a syndication choice.

i was going to post a petty!mean! rub-skiffy's-nose-in-it gloat about syndication weekend, but then Kerne put up her happy squeeful I love Farscape! entry... so i let it go.

but i thought it.

i suppose it would have happened eventually, but... Farscape back on national television. god, it's been forever. ♥
