how's it goin, eh. been busy. volunteering on some student films at AFI. got myself promoted from art department construction grunt and set dresser on the freshman film to art department coordinator on the thesis film. no big feat there really because i had an in. it's the same production designer and we have no crew. go me. :D the boss is the bomb. i'll be so sad when he goes back to Toronto when his visitor's visa is up in June.

been busy doing other stuff too. ignoring fandom since The Stalking[tm]. not caring that i've been ignoring fandom since The Stalking[tm]. spending a lot of time thinking of ways to support Farscape that have absofuckinglutely nothing to with message boards and fandoms.

so anyway. on to important stuff. did ya'll here that there's a Farscape miniseries? swear. pinky swear, even. it'll air in October. how drad is that.

it's kind of fascinating to watch the process at this smaller, microcosmic level and then to imagine how it expands exponentially outward depending on the monies involved.

i've been very lucky that my boss had a similar organic learning process and sees it as the best way to work. he actually prefers a mix of experienced and inexperienced people on set.
