OI! Fine, UN can make their own internet, have their own protocols and establish their own infrastructure...
What I hate in this instance is the assumption that as the UN they should have automatic oversite to something like this. It is only truly global, because other people CHOSE to share the same protocol as us. They did so, because it makes sense economically AND because there are almost NO regulations.
I think this is just one of those situations where they are starting trouble, just because it's us. If it was someone more neutral like the Swiss [for example] I don't think anyone would care.
