just picked up Season One of Veronica Mars. imagine what i'll get from watching this season once i know what the hell happened last season? heh.

only watched the pilot so far. much love. much, much love.

also got Batman Begins, and i'm very proud that i was able to walk out of the EvOlBestBuy with just those two purchases made. and great gods, that place is loud. i'm amazed their employees aren't all deaf.

i like Rachel. i think they kinda overdid the Rachel-being-scared bit to drag out the scene, but she's funny and fresh and snarky when she's in her own element. i'm also rather fond of the new guy, but then, i think Getty is hot like a hot thing. more character would be nice, but i can wait.

as to the preview for next week's ep...if it's Melissa George, i'm so done watching. /seriously.

we watched the first disc, which, i think is about 5 eps? boy, what a difference some context makes. but it really does speak to the quality of the show that we could come in at Season 2, pretty much completely clueless, and still know what's goin' on...

I've been off ALIAS since the end of season three, but I watched The Inside this summer and liked the actress who now plays Rachel and have watched the last couple episodes out of curiosity. I kinda like her character. Still not sure if she thinks being under the wing of Sydney is such a good thing. She should go into witness protection and hang out with Will or something.

Who is the new guy? I've only seen the last episode and half of the one before. Also, I am so glad the opening is not only body shots of Jennifer Garner anymore. Though I don't recognize half of the cast they do show.

the new guy is Balthazar Getty, and his character's name is....thinking...Sam? last week was only the first time i saw him. he's a lonewolf, doityourself kinda agent apparently and Syd didn't want to work with him in Prague, where they picked up Rachel. other than that, i have no clue. i missed the first few eps of the season out of "meh". now i'm annoyed that i did that of course.

and YES.YES.YES!!! i HATED the credits before. they were obnoxious, and i say that totally in love with Jennifer Garner, but they were utterly dismissive of the fact that the show had an ensemble cast, and one that was quite brilliant.

Sam? I like him. About time Dixon had someone to play off of in the field. I did notice he seemed to have a thing for Rachel, but I didn't know what their relationship was because of my lack of context. At the moment ALIAS fandom at large is frightening an I hesitate to look into it for more details.
