It's a BBC series that's just aired its fifth episode. In the first episode we meet DCI Sam Tyler, who, after leaving a crime scene, is in a terrible car accident and he wakes up in 1973. He can't figure out if he's in a coma, gone mad, or if he's really back in time. When he wakes he finds he's a DI assigned to CID in Manchester. He's got this massive culture shock problem, and he's working for a police department he barely recognizes. Needless to say he clashes with his new DCI quite often. Though, DCI Hunt, for all that he's a huge ass, is quite awesome.
I'm quite in love with the series. I got it via magical data fairies. It's being shopped around to US networks, but I don't who'll pick it up or when.
