He nods, wiping away the cobwebs.

ahhhhh, system restore discs. the little pleasures in life. i missed my crazy laptop. not that i haven't been having fun with Maximus, mind you, but there's nothing quite like your own problem child to make it feel like home.

now, let's see if i can get his engines on line and not frell it all up. with some luck, *snorts*, i'll be posting from Talyn soon.

gawd, i love that icon. :D

he took the install and rebooted, got all the way to the desktop and then shut himself off. his battery is totally drained so now i have to sit and wait and hope the battery re-loads. the laptop has a default setting that shuts itself off when it's power is toast so nothing gets damaged, so i'm not concerned yet. if it doesn't fire up after about an hour, *then* i'll start to worry. i don't think i'm screwed, though, but just the same, keep those thumbs crossed, eh?
