*yawns* mornin' luvs
Apr. 22nd, 2006 12:25 pmi go to a wedding today. a very sensibly timed 5pm wedding. i loathe weddings, really. only go to the ones that i absolutely have to. and that would be this one. i utterly ADORE the bride, and her ex put her thru nine kinds of hell. still tries to, but the new man immediately stood up to the plate, backing her play with imposing silence, and today seems like a day of new beginning in a more literal way than the romantic drivel of most first weddings. i feel an obligation to stand with her, as i did during the hell times, and bear witness to her leap of faith. and i confess, as do a few of her other close friends, to a need to impress upon her groom the depth of our feelings for her, and the depth of our faith in him. nothing like a long, knowing stare between him and the cleverly placed man-sized roll up rug to get your point across.
so, i run last minute errands and steal myself for mush. ugh, and yet, yay.
