I'll be curious in the coming weeks to see if this is one of those stories that fades away, because it never was... or if we suddenly find it true. So much that happens in the mid-east is opaque, and easily misunderstood. :shrug:

the main reason i posted this was because of the nonsense about it being a Bush admin misinformation plot designed to make Iran look bad, and i *knew* that no one would bother posting that the Post backed away from its own story because then they'd have to back away from their EvOl!Conspiracy theory. it's all terribly boring really, but i'm a breach baby that way i guess.
