This article is correct on every single point. Every one. It's really disgusting how they've supressed it here in Hawaii. It's not talked about much, or at all. When it is brought up, it's shut up just as quickly.

I hope it fails. I want it to fail. This is the 2nd time senator akaka has pulled shit like this, and it's always been in an election year. There is a growing movement to get him and the One Armed Bandit out. Every election year, the margin of winning votes they've had has gotten slimmer and slimmer.

I miss Patsy Mink, she was SUCH an ass kicker. Especially theirs. Now all we have are 2 old ass kissers who don't want to explain how fucking lazy they were (mis)-representing hawaii. (and how much money they've been getting in campaign contributions from foreign nations and fat cats.)

:massive eyeroll: it doesn't bug me as much that locally they a macking around with this, it's their call, and voters should reel them in if they deisagree. What bothers me is that the rest of congress is rolling over, for short term gains in votes or placating this or that interest group, as if there are no ramifications for The United States of America as an entity. and sucessionists? um, fought a war over that, or had they forgotten? This is only about race because they are making it so, so who do they think it will make look stupid...
