i wish. she posted sad pet news that you and i can recently relate to, and closed her comments, so, you know, bein' me, and her sayin' she couldn't deal with the group hugs, i thought i'd call her ugly and say her mother dresses her funny. ;)
Aww. That's bein' such a good friend. I'm sure she'll appreciate it.
raincitygirl - If you read this, you have my heartfelt sympathies, too. I lost my 17-year old cat to intestinal cancer. According to my vet, that's a common cause of death for an "older" cat.
This past year and a half has been full of loss for so many pet owners. *hugs to all of you*
way back when i'd just moved out on my own, my kitty Patches developed GI cancer. it was devastating to find out, as she'd always been the picture of health, and the vet could only look at me and say 4-6 weeks, probably closer to four but maybe up to six with steroids. Patches was only 11 years old... it was so hard.
