Jul. 16th, 2006 01:10 pmAn episode that airs next month shows that“Eureka” may have the gumption to become the best sci-fi show since the late lamented “Farscape.” It’s a story about a weapon that can create short-term memory loss and, by extension, long-term regrets. It’s a throwback to the old days, when science fiction was less about gizmos and more about the human propensity for madness. In other words, documentary in disguise.
heh

Date: 2006-07-17 01:22 am (UTC)yeah, since the writing is on the wall that between the mollybasset and the assorted kitties this is going to be a barely-break-even summer rather than the hoped-for get-ahead-summer, i decided it was only fair that i divert a few hundred bucks to comiccon and the pleasure of y'alls company. ♥
[that includes you, mesa!]
plus, i REALLY need a few days wherein i don't have to think of anything but squeeing and eating and fangirling. y'know? :-/

He's busy over here doing the dance of the insanely jealous. Someday I'll have disposable income again that isn't being funneled directly to Home Depots....
