wake up at 0930. roll my ass outta bed and into the shower by 1000. grab coffee to sustain the getting-up-early-to-work-overtime thing and hop on the freeway. cell phone rings. it's work telling me not to come in early (admittedly too late) because graveyard called in sick and i'm gonna have to hold over...and work the whole 14.5 hours by myself.

fucking fabulous.

can i go home and take a nap? of course not; because i was a good girl and went to bed early *last* night so i'd get a good 8 hours of sleep and be well-rested for my originally scheduled overtime *this morning*.

with any luck i'll be able to work on the fic i'm writing for c. and i think i'll bring series 3 of Spooks with me.

sure she would. Sam's always cared about Barrett, she just isn't in love with him. and even if she didn't have more than friendship feelings for Barrett, she wouldn't take a threat to someone else's life lightly. what i didn't like about it is that it played too fast; Sam immediately caved and the threat didn't feel in any way threatening.
