I dunno... the point about interaction is true I suppose. I think for moi it's the difference in what I am asking of my brain. When I watch a movie I am engrossed in it, but not in an interactive way. When I'm surfin' I move around a lot, thing to thing. That and I have a real DVD player that will produce real sound, where PC's or Macs simply don't... Though I have heard that there is a way to convert certain output from the mac to be Hi-Fi... Really, most $100 DVD players don't produce great sound, but the average person prolly can't tell the difference.
I think the real problem is that the average person isn't ready to trust their watching of american idol to a machine that has a history of crashing...
even if they don't crash as much as they used to.
When's the last time your TV suddenly just stopped?
