ah... i think it's flocked.. I'll start taking a look so I can find out what he said... but, if it's anything like what he's said in the past, it's just more asshattery.
Randomly came by through browsing around! Here's a link to the video and transcript (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/09/11/keith-olbermanns-special-commnet-on-bush-who-has-left-this-hole-in-the-ground-we-have-not-forgotten-mr-president-you-have-may-this-country-forgive-you/#more-10195). It's mostly aimed against Bush and the administration's actions after and around 9/11. I lean towards liberal so one might consider me biased, but I thought many of the points Olbermann brought up were valid.
To be honest, the only exposure I've had to Olbermann has been through the recent Special Comments that have made their way around the internet and a few references to his "Worst People" lists. I've got a thing for Murrow, so the Special Comment segments sort of appeal to me. I'll have to try to catch a few full episodes of his show so I can see more of what Olbermann's about.
What I can guess at this point is that he's a bit of a liberal pundit, which I'll admit I find kind of refreshing given the number of big-name uber-conservative pundits in the mainstream media (still, punditry is punditry, even if his is comparatively reserved and well-researched). I also feel that the administration hasn't been challenged directly or often enough about some of their actions or inactions after 9/11 and about the Iraq War, so I find it easy to root for Olbermann in this one.
I'm kinda of stunned that anyone would say they don't think the administration has been challenged enough about this, given that the guy's been pretty much vilified since day one.
