Which is odd because when he was telling the story about Dean taking care of him, all I could think about was some of the kids at the shelter...more on that in my lj later, but yeah. What I love on TV and what I love in RL are two totally different animals, ya know?
This show solidified its position next to Spooks in my favorite of the season book.
it SOOOOOO served the story, and plays beautifully into their already existing neuroses, courtesy of dad, and for all the same reasons. gawd, he's a dick.
He is, yo. I mean, he tells Sam Dean would be alive if he'd shot him? Nice. And then he LIES to Sam, except he's not hunting the Demon he's giving up his life, which, okay, I get you love your boys and you've had a death wish since Mary died, but HELLO??? Bargaining with the Demon is SUCH a bad idea.
And then, yo, *Sigh* I hope he had a plan, seriously. Because WTFF? *cuddles Dean and Sam* Because Sam is totally going to blame himself now. And Dean will try to caretake and not deal and....
