Demonizing the opposition will not help your cause.

Ranting at the evil DemoRepubliGreens will not help your cause.

Calling their candidate the Spawn of Satan will not help your cause.

All you will succeed in doing is pissing off people who might otherwise agree with you if you hadn't just insulted their intelligence or their morals. You'll make yourself look unstable, unable to draw distinctions between the party and the people, and you'll incite people to respond in kind.

Anger is fine. Frustration is fine. Just stop assuming that because someone voted for the Other Guy, they're your enemy. They're NOT.

Good god, have we learned nothing about the dangers of broad generalizations from Fandom_wank and Fanfic_hate and years of experience on atxc, atxa, the Haven, Kansas, and FMD? Sheesh.
