I have been following that whole story with a sort of horrified delight. It really is something right out of the Cold War. Makes me want to go read a lot of John Le Carre or something.
I smell a novel out of this....Secret meetings, glow-in-the-dark spies. Rather puts me in mind of a long defunct TV series, one that brought a great number of people together.
it totally does...and that's just disturbingly funny. i interviewed Chris a few days ago for his book, and he says he was just sending a packet of 40 copies to Russia. it made me giggle.
