it is this reason that people think we lost Tet. For those of us who are far away rely on reporting to form an opinion... and when casualty rates are all anyone hears? It's all they focus on. It's a modern paradox... average Joe on the street is more informed about the conduct of the war, but also fatigues much more easily... The wrong that is war has never changed, only our ability to see it clearly. Now and forever the waging of war is started by those who know the price, and finished by those who think any price is too much. Sadly the education of what war means, when it may be necessary, and when it is not, is not something most people want to consider...

the difference between what is right and what is easy... I suppose...
