are you wrong? in that there *is* a subset of any fandom that's batshit, no, you're absolutely right. but *all* the fans aren't that way, and leaving out such a caveat, along with mocking the fans for not knowing the behind-the-scenes reasons for decisions, that no one - including yourself - will explain to the fans is fairly chickenshit.
