Feb. 17th, 2007 05:48 pmat the WaPo, Victoria Toensing smacks down the Fitzgerald prosecution, making quite a good case for many, many, many more indictments. the article is particularly helpful if you're trying to keep track of who actually said what, and when.
interestingly, apparently the jury is PROHIBITED by the judge from knowing whether Plame was, in fact, covert or not. kinda makes it tough to decide if Libby violated any laws then, don't it?
and in cowardly news, apparently the WaPo editorialists are on a roll today, as one bitch slaps Murtha for the non-binding resolution. it's an interesting read. and i agree with Guliani on one thing positive about Murtha; at least he has the courage to stand up for, and not flip flop about, being against the war from the beginning. the problem is that he's trying to pull a fast one so that hopefully no one will notice that he's trying to pull a fast one.
