my personal reaction? i can sum it up in two words:

i don't toss out SB as a quid pro quo, but rather a pointer to the clearly politically motivated bias for the prosecution at all. they went after Libby because they couldn't go after POTUS.
Libby's case to me is no different than Martha Stewart's; how can you find someone guilty of a crime you can't even prove was committed - or in Libby's case, a crime that didn't happen at all. and i'm most troubled by the judge's instructions to the jury about them having to leave out of consideration whether Plame was covert or not, when that status is the crux of the whole debacle.
i appreciate that, in light of post-trial juror statements, the jury clearly saw Libby for the fall guy that he was.
