I'll be curious to see if the EU human rights group picks this up... 'cuz it is surely a hot potato. On the other hand, the couple in question may want to think long and hard, because the EU bureaucracy will tie this up for years... I still think it would be quicker and more likely to be law, if all unions were recognized as civil unions, and they left marriage to religion, sidestepping the issue. foolish pragmatic me... heh ;)
