You would think, wouldnt you? But no.... I went in to get a new phone 18 months ago, and I had to take bells and whistles, because they didnt have a phone that was JUST a phone. I dont need a camera, I dont need a speaker, I dont need net access and I dont need an mp3 player (thats what my iPod is for).

i got a request from my mother that instead of calling 411 to get numbers, that I use the completely useless mobileweb on my cellphone to find numbers *wallmeethead* apparently, that's supposed to be less expensive. in order to actually do that, i need a bigger cell phone, cuz you can't do anything on the interwebs on this phone. *sigh*

what I really want is my old bag phone... 11W [feel the POWER!] didn't drop calls... ever, and that was back in the day, 1990 when everyone and their brother didn't talk to the voices in their heads, while trying to have a conversation with you. since cells were REALLY expensive, and the minutes were not free, you only used the cell phone, if say, you needed to... "listen, LADY! the entire train DOESN'T wan't to know about the new growths on your private parts, so STFU! Or I swear I'll puke on your new manolo baniks" blanik, banik, whatever...
