oh, you like that huh? I wonder if they are willing to share with the BBC the GPS coordinates as well? And will the BBC be willing to share that with the world?
"No, but this really IS neeeeews!"
yeah, and if they sent Harry over there you know damn well the BBC would have been holding up a sign wherever he went...
I don't understand why that blogger thinks the BBC has some reasons for publicizing where their troops are. Why would they do that? It seems stupid and dangerous to the troops.
because they are deeply, deeply against the war and against the Blair government, and are fairly certain that Bush is the AntiChrist, and i don't mean that as hyperbole.
BBC admits own bias in report (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/06/17/nbbc217.xml)
just for clarity, i don't think they're doing it for any nefarious reasons, but rather that they are so absorbed in their own perceptions about the war, and serving those perceptions, that they may not have realized the depth of what they were actually doing.
Thanks for the explanation. I don't care what their agenda is, it's morally wrong to "out" the positions of troops. It's like giving aid and comfort to the enemy and putting many, many people in harm's way. I did like the cartoons.
