just got back from seeing OOTP and i really only have two words for it: brilliant and subversive, or perhaps brilliantly subversive.

for those too young to remember the Cold War and the storytelling that came from that era; books like 1984 and Animal Farm, films like Brazil; then Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix will give you your first taste.

go forth and be subverted entertained.

i think so. there's just so.very.much. and they do interesting things to try and convey what's going on without actually sucking up screen time with exposition.

it's definately a film that will benefit from several rewatchings.
