it was coming up EVERYWHERE. every thread was going wank, and some of the posters even tried *really* hard to self-regulate and start a peace...which is one of the threads that's still open. but yeah, they had to shut it down and limit, and there's still a drenload of modding on the few threads that it's allowed at.
They have pro-character and anti-character threads? WTF? And then they're surprised when there's a pitched battle in the middle of the board?
isn't that nuts? i guess they saw it as the only way to keep the severely batshit to a minimum because threads were constantly getting derailed with wank.
You know, even at its most insane, FS was the Garden of Zen compared to the other stuff I see going on out here.
