Well, in that...one with the news station, there's a clip on TV that says that the Face of Boe is pregnant (again?). So I suppose there's one interpretation that the rest of Boe-kind are the Kids of Boe...but at the same time: no, I have no doubt Rusty pulled this one out of his ass, and there's no way he had it planned all along.

nope, none at all. and it's insulting to the really groovy thing he'd done to Jack. /bitter

it's cake. for srsly. well, not literally.

6-8 chicken thighs, skinned.
1/4 to 1/2 cup your favorite white wine
6-8 carrots
4-6 celery stalks

toss the chickeneses in a stock pot about 3/4 filled with water. add some salt. cook it on a high heat - but check that it's not so high that it boils over.

while that's cooking, chop up the veggies and toss them in. cook it for about 45ish minutes. if the chicken looks done-ish, take the pieces out one at a time, cut the meat off into small pieces/shreds and then toss that back into the water, along with the bone.

add the wine here, along with salt and pepper to taste, and more water if you need to, and drop the heat down to a low flame but higher than a low simmer.

cook it for about another 30ish and then add shells and let it cook till they're done. check the broth for flavor.

that's all there is to it. it's the celery and the carrots and the wine that really give the soup it's flavor.

go onnnnnnnn, make some. you know you want to.
