snaps of the day

somedaybitchthere's *still* something existentially wrong with 8 am being a time i now consider sleeping in.
so this weekend's the indy short film shoot that my boss was kind enough to let me keep free when she gave me the job. go boss! got lots and lots to do, naturally. but first, i wanted to leave you with a couple of photos that weren't imminent disaster photos....er...technically.
the poster of The Boy Who Lived hangs in the stairwell of the costume department at Warner Bros. my cam phone has some fairly trick white balance/color balance features, for a phone, and i used that to go with the lighting and wall color. it's become a bit talismanic for me, interestingly. Harry never gives up. not ever. not even in the face of certain death. it's the interior wallpaper on my phone now; the exterior is still the Ninth Doctor...also talismanic for pretty much the same reasons. :::hugs boys tight:::
the other ZOMG, GIANT SPIDER, GAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH photo was taken at Magic Mountain. i think their humor is wrong...sick, and wrong. :::glares in their general direction:::
that's not photoshopped btw. some sick bastards really put up a giant spider on one of their roller coasters for halloween. the legs even sway just a bit in the wind. :::shudders:::

I wanted to go on a rollercoaster they have here at 6 Flags. Your feet hang down. It looked like fun in the commercial. When I got there with my friends from work, I noticed no one was smiling or laughing when they came out. I should have taken the clue. OMG
