what if...and yeah, it's Rusty but still, he's finally paid off Bad Wolf so maybe....what if, when Rose looked into the Vortex it made her a Time Lord?

remember when Simm as the Master was talking about Gallifrey, and it showed them looking into the Vortex...well what if that's what's happened to Rose?

she says she's been pulled across universes...

am i nuts?

not a Rose hater, sorry. i think it would be brilliant and loop back around beautifully to the unfinished potential of the Bad Wolf mythos.

But you're right in the symmetry and story completion. That would be a great story.

'worship' is a bit strong as well. i just really love the character, but certainly not in a OHGAWDROSEISTEHBESTEVORSONLYWORTHYCOMPANION kind of way.

what i especially loved about this ep was how even though it was clearly Rose that's putting it all together, and Rose that's organized UNIT [yay, UNIT!!!!], the story makes a point of having Rose say that it's Donna that's the key.

Catherine Tate and Billie Piper were BLOODY BRILLIANT in the scene in the warehouse. it was a true partnership...and it's another one of the things that makes me think my theory might be right. Rose was acting very Doctor-like, and Donna was being the brilliant companion that she is...the story seems to be building to a resolution that requires everyone....not that it's this key person or that key person, but the combination of them all, all of their collective brilliance is needed to save the Universe, and that's just awesome storytelling to me.

lol And you know he will, just because. the scary part being that he doesn't do it on purpose, like Joss did, Rusty's able to do it psychically. ;)

Oh, wasn't that a great scene in the warehouse? I loved it so very much. It was nice to see UNIT not being portrayed as dorks. lol Also, woman in charge, so yay us. The best part really, though, was the very last few lines right before Donna disappeared. And Rose's look.

One thing, do you remember them saying Torchwood would never cross with DW, but it would the other way around-having to do with content, really. Interesting. ;) But very cool.
