I have to find a convenient conference next year, so I can make my department buy me a high-season plane ticket to anywhere in the US, even if it means Going Greyhound for 3000 miles to get to SD. I've *always* wanted to go to ComicCon (and Vividcon as well) and never can cause they're the impossible airfare time of year.
