Anything by Reefrunner reads like an actual episode and she'll blow your socks off. *g* She stopped writing fanfic and took down all of her stories once she became published but she doesn't mind if folks share her stories.

Zip file of all her fic. (some of these are part of a series but they can be read as stand alone if you squint) Sorry for the overkill in fulfilling the request but I'd already had the zip file uploaded for easy pimping. *blush*

Hm, 1000-3000 words is a little short for the episodic-type action/adventure Farscape stuff I would usually come across. I've got one, though, if you don't mind a self-pimp: There Ain't No Good Chain Gang which I wrote for the 2004 Rygel ficathon, many moons ago now.

You can't go wrong with kixxa (fic at kixxafics. A longer one that I like, less action/adventure but could slot well into a "downtime" bit in an episode is Moveable Feast (Part 1 and Part 2. And of course Level-Riser Fever.

Ummmmm, 1-3K is a really tough limit for feels like an episode...

Anything on cofax's rec page or on polyamorous recs is bound to be good.

In particular, BetanSurvey's Golden Apples is one of my favorites, though it is long. Cofax's Bellum Interruptum. You absolutely can't beat Max's In the Company of Ghosts, which is at Leviathan, but is insanely long. But so, so, so good. Best Farscape fic ever written.
