That was the best thing I have read all day. Thank you.

You have trained the American people to blame everything bad – even bad weather – on Bush, and they are responding as you have taught them to.

I know this is supposed to be hyperbole, but my hand to God, NPR interviewed a woman at an Obama rally in Florida today who said, "Florida has been getting hit so hard, with the hurricanes, and the housing crisis...Florida is ready for a change!"

...sigh.

my pleasure. :D

one of the best things about Card's "op-ed" is that he's both a journalist and a registered Democrat.

how is the public supposed to make a truly informed decision when they are intentionally being denied information? how does that help the democratic process in particular, and the country in general?

"Florida has been getting hit so hard, with the hurricanes, and the housing crisis...Florida is ready for a change!"

yeahhhhh, don't let me get anywhere near my "cult of personality is baaaaad" soapbox.

You know, I bet we have matching soapboxes...
