So much with the stupid. Guess she doesn't realize the very real position that W. will play in all this as a scapegoat. Obama probably doesn't WANT to go in right now, even if it was completely crazy to figure out a way for it to happen. McCardle makes the proposition that Bush could be reaching more because Obama can't be seen to, but I think the 'specting a bit much. She also doesn't seem to realize that Obama isn't The One. He can't snap his fingers and make this problem go away. From all I've heard Bush is actively doing all the things needed to get things going straight, and is in fact communicating with the transition team...
Why does she imagine that Obama would be doing anything different?
