Yah, but the goal of this type of quasi-professional is to write an article that people will read, and then discuss with their friends, who then go and read the article and produce more ad revinue. Its a lot easier to get that sort of reaction with wank than with sweet reason. /cynicism
except that each year we get a new batch of shiney new fans on the net who need to work through their wank and a few more drama queens who are in it just to get a reaction.
This is why I rarely venture out into fandom anymore :(
