They have a local store in Placentia. Maybe its worth a drive or a phone call, and see if the item is on the store shelf.

Also the address of the store actually matches the whois info on the domain, which is a good sign.

i saw that. and it looks like they got a solid rec from scifi.com in 2005. i'm just wondering where they got that drd kit from, cuz i've never seen that for sale that i recall.
