suelac has some really compelling (thoughts) on Gay Marriage and any attempts to outlaw same via constitutional amendment. do read it if you haven't. she covers the three existing amendments that are germaine to the issue. the point i find most interesting, and that i haven't seen made elsewhere, is this:
