somedaybitchin the midst of a very long and *headdesk* conversation about evolution, or it's lack thereof, i give you this:
that has got to be the funniest thing i've ever read. ever.
and yes, the answerer is writing as if to a small child, because the asker apparently has the reading comprehension of a small child, or else is arguably the most obtuse individual ever to have walked the face of the earth.
and randomly, it's a LOTR fan board...to which a group of you will now say, well of course it is. oy. and no, i'm not going to provide a link because i love you all too much and that's several hours of your life that you can never get back. ever.
Q: If all life started with a common ancestor, why did some of the branches have the capability feel emotions, feel pain, to communicate with eachother, and then other "branches" (like seaweed) not have that ability at all?
A: Because seaweed did not develop nerve cells.
