you not recognizing that those two statements are utterly contradictory, and you not recognizing that blocking the other party at every turn is not a legitimate party platform is why you got your asses kicked in November. it has nothing to do with the so-called religious conservative vote, which hadn't increased in numbers from the previous election. it was average Americans sick of the bullshit and wishing their representatives would actually, you know, represent *them*.
