somedaybitchATTEND THE (LA WRITER'S CONFERENCE), DAMN YOU!!!
ahem.
so uh, yeah, there's a writer's conference, and it's in the City of Angels, and it's being sponsored by the Long Beach Writer's Consortium. The conference is March 19-21, 2004 at the Manhattan Beach Marriot. you may have read the article red wrote, at (watchfarscape.com)
they're putting together a broad spectrum lineup with guest instructors from the realms of fiction, non-fiction, travel writing, magazines, broadcast and entertainment television, journalism and more.
they even have this really groovy bit where you can pay a small fee and get one on one time with one of their guest instructors to critique your pre-submitted work.
so if you've got the free time and writing is your thing, do check them out.

the conference is offering discounts for full-time students and....Scapers!!! how drad is that?
