ya know, and don't let this go to your head, (heh), but i just don't read a lot of fic. and it's not that there isn't some really, really good fic out there. it's just not my raison d'etre. so the few times that i'm inspired to give the initial cursory peek at one, it's always a pleasant surprise to find that it's a fic that kicks ass.

i am, of course, totally biased in what i deem asskickworthy, but there you go.
