Dec. 19th, 2006 08:50 pmGlenn Reynolds on dystopian fiction of the right wing variety. he links to a very harsh critique in the LA Times, which i found interesting not because it was doing the smack down on science fiction, because it wasn't, but because it was doing the smackdown because the premises were from the wrong side of the aisle. when it's left wing, as Reynolds points out with a Margaret Atwood example, then the fiction is subversive and edgy, but when it's right wing, it's apparently just crazy.
