somedaybitchand i meant to add the other day - but was so thrown by it that i thought we'd awoken into an alternate reality - go France!
an 85% voter turnout is absolutely so very awesome!
i'd be disengenuous if i failed to say that i also happen to approve of the President-elect, thus, i'm probably extra happy at the huge turnout, but still, an 85% percent turnout even with a different outcome would have still been something for the French to boast about. 85 percent of the population made their voices heard. the total sap in love with democracy in me is just giddy.
