somedaybitchit's been both a good and craptastic week. the good was monday, with early celebration of birthday. the bad was friday, with death of mom's oldest brother, Nick. 84, ornery as all hell, and you know, all around good old world european. at least he had the good grace to not die on my birthday. grazie, Zio.
so today, i picked mom up and we went to the cemetery at March AFB to say hi to Larry. boy, was that place crowded with visitors. it very nearly made cry. seeing all of those people coming to pay their respects to soldiers who'd served. ::::hugs peoples::::
did i ever mention that Larry's surrounded by women? no? *nods* 3 nurses (sisters) on one side, two on the other. it's so him. *grins*
then we went to Nick's house to visit my aunt and cousins. that was hard for mom. she did good though; and my brother, too. was very proud of both of them bein' all rational and normal. (why yes, i did wonder if demons or pods were involved. why do you ask?)
now i'm home and very much with the tired.
