a horror film shouldn't literally be a film that never dies. amusingly, the majority of the props and set pieces the director wants to use in pick ups were custom made and completely destroyed during teardown.
why no, there wasn't any residual frustration taken out on inanimate objects in lieu of the director, why do you ask? /innocent
