that's the only thing i can think of but it's DRIVING ME FRAKKING NUTS. there is plenty of room to make shit up and i don't honestly have problems with people makin' shit up, but if it's *this* series, with *these* characters then it's already been established as sickbay, so, not so much with the making up stuff.

I was watching old skool BSG, and they called the fancy silver lamé miracle beds 'life stations'.
That happened to be in what old skool still called 'sickbay'.

The fancy silver lamé miracle beds haven't made an appearance in the New Skool BSG; maybe the funkyfic writers watched the marathon on scifi and got confoozled. or distracted by Dirk Benedict's hair.
