Nov. 25th, 2007 01:22 pmbeen reading a bit of the coverage on the most recent bout of wildfires in Malibu.
while always deeply, deeply tragic i remain confused. the Santa Ana winds are no surprise. everyone knows they come and everyone knows what they precipitate. so, then, WHY IN GOD'S NAME WOULD YOU OWN A WOODEN HOME IN MALIBU?????????????????????? what is wrong with your head? honestly, though, why would you own a home there at all? why would you risk your life, along with the equity in your home, the home itself, and the contents of said home, to live in a place where fires.ALWAYS.happen.???
i just....i don't understand.
