producing partners Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner are producing Death Race 3000. yes, folks old enough to remember, that really cheesy film Death Race 2000 with John Carradine where participants win points for running over pedestrians. gawd love Roger Corman making driving fun.

sadly they are prolly going to take themselves WAY too seriously, put in lots of special effects...and stuff. Damn, why can't I be optimistic, and think they could capture the camp of those old post-apoc movies... frell they should just quietly get hold of the rights to all that stuff and clean 'em up and re-relase them all, they'd prolly make more money.

Le Dernier Combat, and A Boy and His Dog, all the Max's, Cherry 2000... there's lots ;)
