Jul. 6th, 2008 10:02 pmso the roomie downloaded the first two eps of The Middle Man from iTunes the other day, and i'm finally getting around to watching it. she described it as The Avengers meets The Tick. she? totally right. right down to the credits riffs.
it's fun, silly, is full of adult metaphors that teens may or may not get [it's original programming on ABC Family] and a most entertaining tv hour. i mean, they made THE Planet of the Apes joke in a pilot involving sentient apes.
i approve. they may continue.
though i do have a note for continuity and the art dept: if you're gonna put a character in glasses, it's best to put the lenses in the frames. or, you know, tell camera not to shoot from certain angles. just sayin'.
