though, i'm pretty sure that when they sat down to compare notes, discovering the potentially terrifying, their response wasn't, "Oh my goodness!".

in other cheery news, The President files a brief in federal court defending DOMA.

eta: correction; it's a motion to dismiss of plaintiff claims against DOMA. so, yeah, still a defense of DOMA but not an amicus brief or anything.

lol...on so many levels, lol.

i find myself rather stunned that supporters of gay marriage still don't call the President on his views. must be why all the ire at Prejean. transference is certainly easier to handle than bitter disappointment.
